Tour Plan
Welcome to Uganda! After a warm welcome by our guide at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will transfer you to your hotel. Settle in and prepare for the adventure that lies ahead.
Accommodation: Infinity Hotel/Boma Guest House/ Boma Guest House/No. 5 Boutique Hotel/Protea or similar.
Choose between a scenic flight from Entebbe to Kasese airstrip and then drive to Kibale National Park OR Drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park, have a drive through Fort Portal, the capital of Tooro Kingdom, shadowed by the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains. Journey through lush tea plantations, arriving in Kibale National Park by afternoon.

Experience an exhilarating trek to meet the habituated chimpanzees of Kibale! These playful apes share many traits with humans, making this encounter unforgettable. Afterwards, explore the rich biodiversity of Bigodi Swamp with a guided walk through local community areas.

Today, you will have an en-route visit to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth -Ishasha. This sector is notably known for its resident tree- climbing lions that are an exceptional attraction in the park. You will have a brief game drive in search of tree-climbing Lions. Continue to Bwindi, home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, , as well as unique bird species including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Relax and prepare for an incredible gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Driving time: 7-8 hours.
Flight time: 45 minutes and 2 hours drive to Bwindi
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing and set off for an unforgettable gorilla trekking journey. Led by experienced rangers, the trek which takes between 2 and 7 hours will be challenging but deeply rewarding as you get to spend a full hour in close proximity with a gorilla family.

Following breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe or drive, where you’ll connect to your onward journey, leaving with memories to last a lifetime.
