We’ll arrange transfer from hotel to Wilson Airport for your one-hour flight to Samburu. You’ll be met on arrival and taken to Sasaab in time for a late lunch.

After breakfast drive to Aberdare National Park. There is plenty to do at Solio Lodge including trout fishing in the Aberdare and at Mount Kenya. You can also take a helicopter flight or go horse riding and discover the terrain. The Game Reserve is home to large numbers of black and white rhinoceros, giving a fantastic opportunity to see these incredible animals.

After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the nearby Nanyuki Airstrip where you will take a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve and your Masai Mara lodge Sala’s Camp. Then journey by 4×4 to Sala’s Camp with a game drive en-route. You’ll explore the famous Masai Mara National Reserve on our spectacular morning or evening game drives, allowing you to see the animals when they are most active. You can also head out into the remote corners of the Masai Mara to find the wildlife and enjoy a bush lunch en-route. Back at the Camp, you can take part in activities, take local walks along the river or relax and enjoy the view from the hammock outside your tent before sun-downers.
