Tour Plan

Day 1 Windhoek. Meal: High Tea, Lunch

Meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the Voigtland Guesthouse. Voigtland Guesthouse is delightfully different and combines an atmosphere of old-world charm with a unique modern style. Meet Namibia’s cutest giraffes. Turn your visit into a highlight with our luxurious high tea, followed by an unbelievable giraffe feeding experience right by your table. Originally built around 1900, the house is set on the slopes of a hill in a spacious landscape of trees, lawns, and gardens.

Day 2 Windhoek-Sossusvlei. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Pick up in the morning at around 8 am & Leaving Windhoek, on route south to Sossusvlei via scenic Spreetshoogte Pass – one of the most spectacular places in Namibia. Stopover for lunch in the Solitaire, an oasis in the Namib Desert. Arrival at the lodge in the afternoon, time for rest.

Distance: 350 km on gravel road,

Duration: 5 hours with stop-overs and lunch break.

Day 3 Sesriem Gate to Sossusvlei. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early morning before sunrise, 70 km scenic drive through Sesriem Gate to Sossusvlei – place of the highest dunes of the World, which was recently inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list as the ‚Sand Sea’. Option of climbing picturesque Dune 45 to experience the beauty and vastness of the fascinating orange-coloured landscape. After the climb, a 5 km off-road 4×4 trail to visit surreal Dead Vlei, a place of vast clay pan and dried-up, ancient acacias standing silent in an impressive landscape. Break for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Sesriem Canyon and sunset at Elim Dune. Evening: dinner, time for rest, relaxation, and star-gazing.

Distance: around 200 km on tar, gravel, and sand roads

Day 4 Namib-Naukluft Park to Swakopmund. Meal: Breakfast

Adventure starts after breakfast, as we travel through the Namib-Naukluft Park to Swakopmund, passing by canyons and fascinating rock formations. The magnificent landscape of the Namib reaches as far as the eye can see. Wildlife and grazing antelopes:  oryx and springbuck, mountain zebras, giraffes, and the World’s biggest birds that don’t fly – ostriches. En route, celebrating crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn (famous geographical line) – time for pictures! Lunch in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund.

Before reaching Swakopmund, a short visit to Walvis Bay lagoon and salt pans for excellent marine bird viewing.

Day 5 Swakopmund-Etosha. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We bid “farewell” to the coastal town of Swakopmund, on our way to Etosha National Park – a treasure of Namibia, considered to be one of the most loved parks of Africa!

We are welcomed by wild animals and the white sand of the plains, while searching for the king of the savannah – lion. During the afternoon’s game ride, we are admiring a variety of magnificent game: antelopes, giraffes, zebras, as well as herds of African elephants roaming through the bush.

In the evening, a relaxing dinner is served in the thrilling atmosphere of the wild. At the waterhole, thirsty animals gather for the drink of water, while you are invited to watch the ever-changing ‚theatre of nature’ till late!

We will spend the next two days on the trails of Etosha, searching for wild animals of the savannah.

Duration: 5 hrs.

Day 6 Etosha-Waterberg. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today, in the morning game drive in Etosha National Park.

After the game drive, travel south to Waterberg Plateau.

Distance: 200 km (gravel routes).

Accommodation: Waterberg Resort or similar.

Day 7 Waterberg-Windhuek. Meal: Breakfast

After breakfast, “farewell” to Waterberg, we are traveling south to Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Plenty of time to do last shopping for gifts, souvenirs, and curios at the local craft market, and enough time to take the last photos of beautiful Africa.

Arrival at the airport around 11 am.

Distance: around 250 km (tarred roads).
